Poll result It's official: Muffy Mount is the ultimate nom de sex pour femme, while the splendid Hardy Woodman ran away with the pour homme title.

To recap, we asked readers to submit a pornname based on the name of their first pet and the first street they lived on. Thousands of you answered the call, and we offered up 100 candidates for a final vote.

In the end, Muffy Mount attracted 382 votes (14 per cent), closely followed by Silky Staines (318, 12 per cent). The male result was more clear-cut, with the aforementioned Woodman scoring a convincing 341 votes (13 per cent) - a veritable gangbang ahead of Rusty Hornbeam on 148 (6 per cent).

Well, we started to wonder how we could make some cash from these grumble flick monikers, and after an arduous afternoon trawling the net's finest smut, decided to go into the porn DVD business. Our first release is due out soon, and those among you who keeping banging on about non-IT-related material on El Reg will be delighted to learn that it has a decidedly tech flavour.
