EMC-Dell merge vote date

EMC says that its shareholders will vote on the proposed Dell merger at a July 19 special meeting.

The shareholder vote, set to take place at EMC's headquarters in Massachusetts at 10am local time, will decide if EMC takes up the merger with Dell first floated in October of last year.

Those who wish to vote on the deal must have purchased their shares of EMC stock prior to May 13 and must register to attend the event by July 12. ®
