breathe is such a wheeze

Not

Further proof - if proof be needed - that lifestyle-conscious breathe is absolutely off its trolley has surfaced courtesy of an e-newsletter from the ISP.

Mark Hodder, the author of this enlightening yet meandering monologue, opens with something from his childhood.

"The bra and pants pages of my mother's mail order catalogues... ah, happy boyhood memories," he reminisces.

"Those catalogues were always awkwardly thick and heavy; crammed with what turned out to be a pretty limited choice of goods. They just don't compare with the modern phenomenon of Internet shopping. Take a look at breathe's commerce section and you'll see what I mean. More choice than you can throw a stick at. And if that doesn't whet your appetite, how about this..."

He then goes on to plug e-commerce and WAP offering from breathe. It's then you really know he's lost the plot.

He describes WAP as the "impressive new technology that turns the mobile phone into an indispensable lifestyle tool".

Come on, Mark, you can't kid us non-Modern Urbanists... everyone knows its CWAP.

So there you have it; breathe's "Modern Urbanists" get their fix from looking at ladies in their underwear and telling everyone that their WAP phone is "an indispensable lifestyle tool".

How terribly rad. ®
