We love Ace's Hardware

Advertisers sign up. Now

Recently, we've written about the cold wind blowing through games and hardware review sites which depend upon ad networks for their income.

So it comes as little surprise to us that the ad networks have rescinded deals with some of their affiliates.

But we're astonished that "UGO Networks no longer represents Ace's Hardware, one of the very best hardware review sites around.

Maybe it's not shallow enough for the teen-to-twenty-something-male-fixated YouGeeOh (as it prefers to be pronounced)? We don't know the answer, as Brian Neal, Ace Hardware's Webmaster, prefers not to talk about UGO. He's looking ahead instead to the future, and that means finding new advertisers and sponsors.

Ace's Hardware is a teched-up publication for clever people, most of whom are probably in clever jobs. And It's written by people who are happy to delve beyond x.86 - Ace's Hardware really knows its chip architectures. Last but not least, people who dig hardware sites are people who buy kit. Lots of kit.

Feel the demographics and go buy some ads.
