Big fat 5GB PC card for photographers
Camera action
Storage gizmos for mobile devices continue to increase in popularity, with Kingston Technology this week releasing a new version of its DataPak device, which is essentially a 5GB hard drive on a PC card. The previous device from the company was only able to store 2GB of data.
Users can slip it into their type II PCMCIA drive (mostly found on notebooks, as well as some cameras and PDAs).
Kingston is recommending the drive for photographers, who would be able to store a decent amount of images and then easily whip it over to their notebooks for editing (assuming they have a notebook, of course).
It has a suggested retail price of £359 (excl. VAT). ®
