Chimp nicks mobile phone
Police in London are hunting a chimpanzee after it broke into a house and stole a mobile phone.
Cops reckon the ape is also responsible for at least one other burglary and claim it might have been trained to steal.
Mustapha Riat, was in bed yesterday morning when the chimp opened his ground floor flat window.
Mr Riat told the Sun: "I saw this hairy black chimpanzee coming through my window. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
"It was in and out in a second. I had a lamp and a clock on the table but it only wanted the phone," he said.
Mr Riat had his Samsung A300 mobile phone, worth around £100, nicked. You can read the full story here.
