Apple London store 'to open 20 November'

Shopped

Apple's first UK store will open its doors on 20 November, according to a report at IFO AppleStore citing what sounds like staffers hired by the Mac maker's retail operation.

The site notes that the London store, located on Regent Street, just South of Oxford Street and Oxford Circus tube station, will be run by one Josh, fresh from managing Apple's 3rd Street, Santa Monica, the site claims.

Josh has apparently been showing UK employees his video of the San Francisco opening to prepare them for the hordes of Macatistas they can expect to descend upon them on the 20th. More direct training will start next month, it seems.

Some may camp outside the store ahead of the opening in order to get through the door first, which is what IFO ('In Front Of') AppleStore is all about. ®
