South Korean swingers in net porn bust
Illegal wife-sharing clampdown
More than 150 South Korean swingers found themselves taking a short break from trans-marital rumpy-pumpy yesterday after police busted the owner and users of a wife-swapping website for alleged violation of pornography laws. The caged libertines are suspected of posting nude photographs of themselves on the "Bubu Plus" website - operated from the southern city of Pusan. It is alleged to have attracted 5,000 paying members purely by word of mouth, Reuters reports.
Although swapping of willing partners is not against South Korean law, a "provision in the information network law makes it illegal to send or distribute obscene material over telecoms systems and other types of networks". Those cuffed are are said to have posted porn pics and vids of themselves indulging in group sex on the site.
Local media reports that Bubu Plus members were graded according to their degree of "participation". Around 450 had paid the equivalent of $120 for lifetime membership. ®
