No bonus for Google founders

Pity the poor billionaires...

Billionaire Google execs Larry Page and Sergey Brin are not getting bonuses from the search engine they founded together. Also off the bonus list is chief executive, and fellow billionaire, Eric Schmidt.

But the three did get a holiday bonus of $1,566 (£837) along with their salaries.

Google's initial public offering earned Brin and Page $7.2bn each. Schmidt is worth $2.8bn, according to Forbes magazine's Rich list.

Brin and Page are paid $150,000 a year and Schmidt gets $250,000, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange and Commission.

Four execs did get bonuses of between $600,000 and $700,000, according to the filing.®
