EU launches EUtube with a bang

Minor kerfuffle over soft-core shagfest

NSFW The EU has launched its very own YouTube channel, cunningly entitled EUtube, and aimed at disseminating the very best of the union's audiovisual content.

Among the delights on offer are the truly fascinating The Reform of the Common Market Organisation for Sugar and an insight into the workings of the European Anti-Fraud Office. But what's really wowing the crowd is this video, which demonstrates that when it comes to explosive climaxes, nobody can outbang our indigenous filmmakers:

This steamy montage has, naturally, attracted the attention of "anti-Euro" party UKIP, with MEP Godfrey Bloom slamming the celluloid shagfest as "cheap, tawdry and tacky".

According to The Sun, Bloom is demanding to know how much the short cost EU taxpayers, and he rather splendidly thundered: "You might say it is appropriate for them to put out films like this - Brussels has been screwing the UK for at least 30 years." ®
