Fasthosts update: still above water
Service afloat despite floods
Fasthosts is fully operational despite the continued flooding problems.
The company said all its services remain fully operational. Customer services is running a general advice service while the problems continue.
The company thanked customers for their understanding. A statement on Fasthosts' status page said: "We would like to thank those of our customers who have expressed sympathy and understanding over the last few days and to offer our best wishes to anyone who is suffering the consequences of the weather conditions."
We received the following statement by email at 11.53pm last night:
Every aspect of Fasthosts' services remain fully operational.
Due to exceptionally severe weather conditions in Gloucestershire, and local telephone line difficulties, Fasthosts' customer service department is running a general advice line only on its telephone support number. This advice line is available from 8am to 8pm.
Alternatively, a full technical support service remains available via email at support@fasthosts.co.uk
We will work hard to maintain a high standard of service, despite the adverse weather conditions, and will of course keep our customers informed."
Fasthosts is not alone. Namesco's headquarters is currently under water - there are pictures here.

Forecasters are suggesting that Gloucester may have seen the worst of the weather now, but Reading and the Thames are expected to see peak flows early Wednesday morning.
