Revamped Mac Mini en route, claims Apple insider
He knows when, but not what
An upgraded Mac Mini will be unveiled by Apple next month, a company employee has revealed.
The unnamed informant spoke to gadget magazine Wired and claimed that, although he couldn’t leak any of the upcoming Mini’s features, the refreshed machine will be launched at the Macworld Expo show in San Francisco next month.
It’s impossible to say what will feature in the latest Mini model – if, indeed, there is one coming. Will the machine’s body will be crafted from a single piece of aluminium – as all the new MacBooks are?
The new machine may also support Blu-ray, although this would likely push the Mini’s low price up. The existing 1.83GHz and 2GHz models will almost certainly be replaced with faster chippery.
We’ll bring you more news as we have it.
