US teen cuffed for disorderly classroom texting

SMS-happy whippersnapper heads for court

A text-happy Wisconsin teen who refused to stop messaging during a high school maths lesson was arrested, charged with disorderly conduct, and now faces a court appearance for her trouble.

The unnamed 14-year-old girl was busted last Wednesday at Wauwatosa East High School. According to the rap sheet posted on The Smoking Gun, the SMS-crazed ne'er-do-well declined not only to cease her texting, but also to surrender her Samsung Cricket.

Cue law enforcement intervention, and the offending mobe - which the girl had attempted to conceal about her person - was finally extracted "from the buttocks area".

The hardened perp was banned from school property until 17 February, had her phone confiscated and will appear in court on 20 April on a the disorderly conduct misdemeanour charge. ®

Bootnote

Let's face it, since the girl initially refused to be searched, she was lucky to avoid a solid tasering. Mark my words, it's the only language these feral kids understand, etc etc.
