Open Office 3.1 hits Malta, Myanmar and Papua New Guinea

The latest version of the open source alternative to Microsoft's Office suite has been released.

Open Office 3.1 includes several improvements, including changes to the way files can be locked and unlocked, use of master reset passwords as well as other general bug fixes.

The software claims better screen appearance, easier dragging of icons which show a shadow when moving, and the introduction of overlining - the opposite of underlining. The world processor boasts better grammar checks and improved highlighting.

It has also been localised for Malta and Myanmar and Tok Pisin from Papua New Guinea.
