Wii bowling ball rolls in
Gutter ball idea or a sure strike?
A bowling videogame’s one thing, but we were bowled over by the stupidity of the latest Wii peripheral – a bowling ball.

The Remote sits inside the bowling ball
Bowling balls are big, heavy and cumbersome objects, while the Wii encourages gamers to jump, dance and flap around during gameplay. So, mix the two together and what have you got? A recipe for disaster!
Although we’re not sure how heavy the Bowling ball for Wii peripheral is, manufacturer CTA Digital claimed that the “ultra-realistic” accessory allows gamers to mimic all the critical motions required for a strike.
The Wii’s remote slots into a compartment inside the ball and you plug the ball’s three holes with your fingers - as you would a normal bowling ball.
Don’t forget to secure the ball’s strap around your wrist, the manufacturer’s warned, or your may end up hitting more than just a strike.
A launch date or price for the Bowling ball for Wii peripheral isn’t available. ®
