Capita bags another dealer

£15m for education provider

Capita is buying education supplier Ramesys from Lloyds Bank for £15m.

Ramesys, based in Nottingham, employs about 300 people and specialises in school projects. It has contracts with Nottingham, Manchester, Waltham Forest, Westminster, Tower Hamlets and Greenwich.

Last year it made a loss of £2.9m on turnover of £34m.

Paul Pindar, Capita's chief executive, said the deal would deepen and broaden the firm's education expertise as well as fitting well with its other public sector business.
