Asus tackles summer sun with no-gloss netbook screen

Eee lass will love the update

Asus has officially taken the lid off its latest Eee PC netbook, the 1005PX.

Well, it's hard to get overly excited by the new Eee PC, which takes the existing 1.66GHz Atom N450-based 1005PE - reviewed here - and swaps out the old model's glossy screen for a "non-glare" panel.

And - apart from some new casing colours - that's about it.

Anyone on a sunny beach will surely appreciate the non-glare screen. ®
