Vodafone unveils second own-brand Android phone

Vodafone will release its second own-brand budget Android handset in time for Christmas.
The Vodafone 945 runs version 2.1 of the Google OS and sports a 3.2in, 480 × 272 capacitive touchscreen with haptic feedback - a big step up from its resistive touchscreen predecessor, the Vodafone 845.
There's a 5Mp camera and flash on the back. The 945 has HSDPA 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, plus GPS and an FM radio.
There's 300MB of on-board memory and storage, but it will take Micro SD cards of up to 32GB capactiy too.
The 945 goes on sale next month, "very competitively priced", according to Vodafone. ®
