James Bond returns to movie games screens

Secret agent is Wii Man

Activision has released two James Bond games, GoldenEye 007, a reworking of an earlier first-person shooter for the Wii and Nintendo DS and James Bond 007: Blood Stone, an "original, cinematic Bond experience" for XBox 360, PS3, PC and Nintendo DS.

Which is nice as Blood Stone is the nearest you will get to a new cinematic Bond experience for some time: the next James Bond film was put on ice in April, because of the financial woes of MGM. The film studio went titsup last week, so "indefinitely" looks definitely indefinitely

Gamespot has a Blood Stone review out already, awarding 7.5 out of 10 for the "uneven yet worthwhile James Bond experience, aided in no small part by stellar production values that make it easy to forget that this Bond story isn't tied to a new movie".

The Bond Girls for the games are Nicole Scherzinger, of the Pussycat Dolls, who sings the GoldenEye theme song, and Joss Stone, who penned a song with the Eurythmics' Dave Stewart, for Blood Stone, called "I'll Take it All".
