HTC Facebook branded, buttoned phones appear online

Amazon spills dancing beans

HTC will have two Facebook-branded phones out next month, according to Amazon.co.uk, which has now posted pages for the handsets.

Both will go on sale on 26 June, the retailer reckons, Sim free and complete with a dedicated Facebook button.

HTC ChaCha

HTC ChaCha

The £250 ChaCha is a BlackBerry-style boy with a fixed Qwerty keyboard and a 2.6in, 480 x 320 screen. It's an HSPA 3G device with 2.4GHz 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0. There's a 5Mp camera on the back.

The ChaCha's 1250mAh battery is good for up to 450 minutes' ChatChat, depending on network connection, HTC claims.

HTC Salsa

HTC Salsa

The Salsa - your for £320 - is a touchscreen device, this time with a 3.4in display, though the resolution is the same: 320 x 480. You'll get up to 540 minutes worth of conversation out of its 1520mAh battery, apparently.

Others specs match those of the ChaCha, including the 600MHz CPU and unspecified version of Android - probably 2.2 Froyo. Both run HTC's Sense UI on top of the OS. ®
