Singing Duke set to Nukem dead
Shooting star gets groovy
In the build up to the game's release, we've seen all sorts of Duke Nukem hype, from videos of turds being slung around, to flash games with stripping page 3 models. Now, less than two weeks before launch, it turns out the Dukester may drop his hard-man look in favour of a melodic croon.
Game publisher 2K certainly kept that one under lock and key.
In an interview with VoicetheDream, vocal actor Jon St. John shoots his mouth off about his role as Duke Nukem, hinting that as well as spraying guns and hanging out with sapphic schoolgirls, the Duke will stretch his vocal chords in a spot of sing-song.
"Even though the game is still finished, of course there will be special add-on packs and features including... I don't know if I am allowed to talk about this or not... something that may involve singing. I'll leave it at that." he said.
Call that a performance?
Duke Nukem Forever is released on June 10.
