Duke Nukem Forever rocks up on shelves
It's party time
Somebody pinch me, I must be dreaming. 14 years since production first commenced, Duke Nukem Forever has finally gone on sale. It was immediately hit by stonkingly bad reviews, though. D'oh!
Apparently, the game has failed to live up to the hype. Although, with that much talk, for that long, it was bound to have a rough ride. Axl Rose's Chinese Democracy suffered a similar fate when it was launched after over a decade of wait. Perfectionists and dawdlers should take note.
Oh dear... represent!
Reg Hardware was down at the DNF launch party last night to mingle with the man himself and pick up our copy of the game. Ok, I admit, the fact someone told us there would be strippers there may have been the real incentive.
The best we could get, though, were dozens of babes dressed as raunchy schoolgirls, delivering more shots than the Dukester in a room full of aliens. We're not complaining. Although my head was this morning.
Shame of thrones
Duke Nukem Forever is available now. Our coverage of the game is coming soon, when we're all out of gum. ®
