Shenanigans ensue

Hacktivist pranksters LulzSec have struck again with the release of 26,000 email addresses and passwords from members of internet smut site Pron.com.

Relying on the frequent mistake of using the same login combination on multiple sites, LulzSec called on its followers to try and use the credentials to log into Facebook, before letting the friends of users know of their proclivity for internet porn. Facebook quickly responded to hacking mischief by matching up the leaked email addresses against its own database and resetting passwords.

Email addresses in the batch reportedly included .mil and .gov users, some of who may have some serious explaining to do.

LulzSec also released the login credentials of 55 admins of other adult entertainment sites. Anyone in the list who uses the same password/login combination will only get what they deserve, according to LulzSec.

"The Lulz Boat is here to shine a blinding light on these fools until it burns their eyebrows off," it said. "Nowhere to hide, no damage control."

LulzSec has shot to prominence over recent weeks following attacks against PBS (over its documentary on Wikileaks), Sony and FBI-affiliated security organisations, among others. The grey hat outfit also issued more cordial and redacted warnings over site security to Nintendo and the NHS. ®
