OS X Lion roars, coughs on appearance in App Store
Fanbois moan on Twitter at failure to get paws on
Apple has stuck the Lion operating system on its Mac App Store.
The update can be yours for just £20.99 ($29.99), although we're getting reports of problems using the site. Despite being a supposedly soft launch, it is likely that fanbois are already queuing up to grab the first major operating system upgrade.
Twitter is filling up with twats complaining about download problems. Or providing Apple with free advertising.
You need to be using Snow Leopard 10.6.8, have iTunes installed, be willing to wait for a 3.49GB download, and will need to check if your hardware is up to the job, as well.
The update page is available from the UK Apple store (US information here). ®
