Facebook has made it easier for developers to test apps they create for the ginormous social-networking mega-site.
Devs have been able to create Test Users, which Facebook describes as "invisible user accounts associated with an app created for the purpose of testing the functionality of that app", since November, but doing so required writing code.
Tuesday's upgrade allows devs to create those invisible app-testing friends, Dentel explains, through "a simple user interface within the Developer App."
This latest developer-tools addition is part of Facebook's Operation Developer Love program, announced last October, which intends to address dev's needs and concerns about the social-media site's developer program. ®
