Three brings on-demand ITV content to smartphones

Three has appeased telly addicts with a deal that'll see ITV catch-up content appear on users' handsets.

On Demand Group is set to distribute the content on behalf of ITV, so that Three customers can watch ITV shows, such as Coronation Street, I'm a Celebrity, Downton Abbey and - yep - The X Factor, streamed directly on their smartphones.

I'm sure you're all quivering with excitement.

Those who subscribe to Three's VoD and catch-up service will have access to the programmes, with the ability to pause, rewind, fast-forward and repeat any of the shows. ®
