Microsoft will unveil Windows 8 at Mobile World Congress, says an invitation sent out today.
The invitation is for a Windows 8 Consumer Preview in Barcelona on 29 February, two days into the industry event.

Rumours about Windows 8 suggest very close integration with the mobile operating system, Windows Phone 8, with the phone OS potentially built with the same kernel as the PC distribution.
In other news, fanbois have been upset by suggestions that Microsoft will kill the iconic Start button in Windows 8, replacing it with a a hot-corner. We're on tenterhooks. ®
