Virgin offers unlimited action on the cheap

Top-up temptation for data lovers?

Virgin has updated its PAYG deals to - it claims - undercut all of its operator rivals by offering unlimited data for a mere £10 top up.

The company rolled out two fresh tiers of tariff this week, one geared towards the natterer, the other prepped for surf addicts.

One tariff, "Big Data and Texts", offers unlimited mobile data and 300 texts to those who splash out a tenner.

Next up is "Big Talk", which for the same price features unlimited calls to landlines and two hours to any-network.

Customers can include unlimited texts on either tariff for an extra £5.

In comparison, reader-favourite and often the most inexpensive Sim provider GiffGaff only offers 1GB of data for a tenner, with unlimited options starting at £12. Both come with 250 UK minutes and unlimited texts, though.

The other closest rival in the inexpensive unlimited bracket is Three, although you'd have to top up £15 for all-you-can-eat data on a PAYG package there. Again, that deal comes with more minutes and texts than Virgin's offering.

Virgin's latest deals are available now. Check out the Virgin tariffs page for more information. ®
