Biz email slinger Mimecast tumbles over
'Makes me look a tool for recommending them' sniffs bloke
Mimecast, which touts webmail for businesses, has toppled over in Blighty, leaving its customers unable to send or receive emails.
Our readers told us the service wasn't delivering mails, and the web portal was inaccessible for users.
And peeps on Twitter reckoned the service went down sometime around 11am this morning.
Looks like @mimecast is floating down shit creek without a paddle, don't worry it only makes me look a tool for recommending the solution.

Mimecast tweeted repeatedly that it was aware that customers were having problems and it was working on the problem.
We’re aware some Mimecast UK customers have service issues. We're working on it & will provide an update shortly. Apologies.

In its latest tweet, the firm said that it had identified the cause of the cockup and had started fixing it:
UK Mimecast customers have had service issues. Problem identified. Recovery underway. Timeframes in next update. Apologies
