A group of former 2e2 staff are set to discover next week at an employment tribunal how successful they've been in efforts to recover monies they claim are owed to them by administrator FTI Consulting.
The 200-strong bunch will have their case heard in Reading on 17 September under the representation of Jenny Andrews at Andrews Employment Law Consultants.
The staff were made redundant by FTI Consulting during 2e2's first week of administration, as FTI juggled keeping parts of the business afloat with a limited pot of funding.
On day two of the administration, some 319 staff got their marching orders and at the end of the week another 26 were laid off.
El Chan understands that the January payroll, expenses, holiday pay, bonuses and commissions are outstanding and in some cases staff are owed up to £30,000.
In a progress report to the end of July, recently filed at Companies House, FTI said it expects to pay a full dividend to employees of 2e2 UK as preferential creditors, which it said would cover wages and holiday pay.
Preferential creditors of 2e2 Holdings, however, are not likely to see any returns, the administrator had confirmed.
