Murdoch calls for world+dog to 'expose' Google
'Smithers? Delete that Tweet,' mutters mogul
Rupert Murdoch, the Mr Burns dotty uncle of media barondom chairman of media conglomerate News Limited, has darkly hinted that …
Actually, it's pretty hard to work out what is on the mind of the Dear Leader, given that he seems to be operating his Twitter account himself, or at is dictating it stream-of-consciousness style to a Smithers-like minion.
So The Register will, instead, present the Tweets for your edification and entertainment. First, there was this:
Big media trials in London in 2 weeks. Remember, everyone innocent until proven guilty, entitled to fair trial in most countries.

Murdoch is, of course, referring to the beginning of the trial of Andy Coulson and Rebekah Brooks. However, he next ventures forth in this less immediately comprehensible offering.
"Please expose Eric Schmidt, Google " etc. Just wait!

In exactly what way Murdoch believes the Chocolate Factory's Eric Schmidt is overdue for exposure, The Register is unsure. Murdoch has in the past accused Google of stealing News' content, seemingly unaware that the addition of a simple robots.txt file would just about stop Google in its tracks.
The mogul also seems to be unaware that Tweets can be deleted, as his next missive shows.
Oops! Better ignore last tweet.

We're quite happy to leave it to commentards to help us fill in the blanks: what exactly was Rupert thinking and why can't his myriad sysadmins write a robots.txt file? ®
