Users of a Ghanean public toilet fled the premises in panic after a "big black snake" sank its fangs into an unfortunate 34-year-old's todger.
Kwabena Nkrumah was going about his business in Faaman, some 250km northwest of the capital Accra, when he "suddenly felt a sharp pain at the tip of his manhood", according to GhanaWeb.
Staring deep into the dunny, Nkrumah spotted the ophidian offender "which was about to pounce on his dangling manhood once again".
Cue a sharpish jump onto the toilet and warning cries of "snake snake snake", which prompted fellow customers to exit the facility with alacrity "without even cleaning themselves".
Some people did brave the risk to their unwashed nether regions to get a "dizzy" Nkrumah to hospital for treatment. He was later discharged apparently none the worse for his ordeal.
The species of snake responsible for the "horrific experience" last week is not noted. ®
