Australian National University CIO Peter Nikoletatos departs
Sudden split 'by mutual consent'
Australian National University (ANU) chief information officer Peter Nikoletatos left his post yesterday.
In response to inquiries from The Reg, ANU's media team offered the following:
"The University can confirm that Peter left the ANU, by mutual agreement, yesterday.
The University won’t be making any further comment."
The parting of the ways came literally a day after Nikoletatos was lauded as one of the planet's 100 most social CIOs.

Nikoletatos is one of Australia's most visible CIOs, often appearing at conferences and vendors' press events. An early advocate for cloud in his previous gig at Curtin University, he's since talked up mobility and delivered an augmented reality application for ANU students and staff.
The Reg has attempted to contact Nikoletatos to learn of his next moves. ®
