Yes! It's DRONE PORN. And we don't mean shiny pics of UAVs

Way to lower the tone: Low-flown drone shown prone bone

SFW-ish It's been said that a technology hasn't really made it into the mainstream until it's been used for porn*. If that's true, then welcome, drones.

Thanks to Brooklyn, New York filmmakers Brandon LaGanke and John Cartucci – who produce ads, music videos, and other content via their company, Ghost+Cow – we now have Drone Boning, which to our knowledge is the first-ever skin flick to be shot entirely by aerial drones.

Not that you'll spot the skin right away, mind you. Much of the footage is composed of impressive aerial shots of lush outdoor landscapes, replete with trees, rolling hills, waves lapping sandy beaches, and winding country roads. All, apparently, in San Francisco, California.

One has to admire the technique on display – camera technique, that is, where our hovering shutterbug has artfully decorated his scenes with lens flares and creative shooting angles.

Still from Drone Boning

Shame on you for looking! (Source: Drone Boning)

Our hastily assembled Reg review panel had a harder time rating the copulatory skills of the performers, though. Much like a racy movie edited for late-night TV, Drone Boning's airborne camera always seems to soar away just when it's getting to the good bits.

Plot isn't really its strong point, either, but we suppose that's par for the course.

You can view the entire film at its website, here – although we should warn you that even though you might have to squint to make out some of the action, Drone Boning is still best considered NSFW. ®
