El Reg's mighty rocket spaceplane Vulture 2 arrives in US of A
LOHAN's massive box thuds down in the Mile High City
At last - ROCKETS for the rocket ship
Actually it's even better, because we've finally got our hands on the Vulture 2's rocket motor reloads. Long-term LOHAN fans will recall the horrific tale of Spain's Ministry of Obstruction and comedy EU cock-up which scuppered any chances of getting the required Cesaroni P54-3G J140-P White Longburns in Europe.
Well, we don't care any more because we now have two of 'em, legally acquired Stateside and ready for action. Here's David Patterson at Apogee Rockets in Colorado Springs last week, brandishing some serious APCP:
An agreeable moment indeed. In case you're wondering just what is the relationship between David and Jeff, which has allowed us to store our kit in Denver, we should explain that Edge Research has office space cadged off of Mass Transit:
It's a happy relationship, and obviously bloody handy for us, because we now have pretty well all the LOHAN kit across the Pond, and poised for action. Accordingly, we raise the traditional pint or two to all those concerned. Cheers. ®
