In an industry filled with cheap Chinese copies, the latest British brand Knomo is worth knowing. Knomo has an extensive collection of professional bags that offer quality to suit any budget. Out for summer 2015, the Hanover is made from soft lightweight grey linen cotton, spray-coated for protection against water and dirt, with a smooth leather trim.

Luggage guru Samsonite has brought out for 2015 a design classic in the Bailhandle. It seems the marketing bods came up with the name due to the look of the handles but forget old metal buckets: like all Samsonite luggage, these bags are engineered for comfort.
It’s made from 600 denier nylon to fend off dirt and water, with leather and brass detail. It’s one of those bags that will maintain its shape however much you jam in. While it doesn’t quite take a standard 17 inch laptop, it will accommodate sizes up to 16.4 inches and features a cable pouch, tablet sleeve, mobile phone pocket and smart sleeve to slip over luggage. It also has enough space to carry overnight gear, flip-flops and a bathroom bag. Always handy, as who knows when the airline might lose your big luggage sent to the hold?
