TalkTalk website hit by outage, broadband customers also KO'd

Provider's website knocked offline. Again

Updated Internet provider TalkTalk has once again been hit by an outage, which has brought its own website down and is reportedly affecting a number of broadband customers.

At 3.30pm, outage website Down Detector recorded a spike reports of issues with the provider.

The provider's website says:

The TalkTalk website is unavailable right now. Sorry we are currently facing technical issues, our engineers are working hard to fix it. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

As per usual, people took to moaning platform Twitter to complain:

In August TalkTalk was also hit by an outage, knocking its website down.

A TalkTalk spokesman told The Register: “We have taken down talktalk.co.uk temporarily, and normal service will be resumed as soon as possible. Our taking down of the website is not related to a broadband outage." ®
