Continuous Lifecycle: Want to get your hands dirty? Try our workshops
Containers, Microservices, DevOps and CD, we’ve got it covered
We’ve got almost 40 conference sessions running at Continuous Lifecycle, but if you really want to get deep into the key issues you should really consider our Day 3 workshop program.
Each of our workshops will deliver an all day, hands-on, deep dive into the topic at hand. Your only problem will be choosing which one to sign up to.
Automation is clearly a thing, as is continuous delivery, so what could be better than a workshop combining both. codecentric’s Bastien Spannenberg and Felix Massem will be delivering just that in a very hands-on all day session, that will take you through tools such as Ansible, Vagrant, and Jenkins.
Containers are one of this year’s hottest technologies, and you can spend a whole day getting to grips with it in the company of Ocelot Uproar’s Ben Hall. Ben will cover how to build and put into production applications and systems which utilise container tech, and how they work in production and the real world, from identifying patterns to debugging production issues.
Dave Farley will be expanding on his conference session with his workshop on Continuous Delivery, Theory, Technology and Practice. Aimed at senior people whose job is driving change, Dave’s session will show you how to increase efficiency and quality, and reduce risk in your software development process.
If you’re convinced of the need to adopt DevOps, and are just working out how to apply it to your organisation, you’ll want to consider DevOps Liftoff - Agile, Lean and IT Service Management. Ranger4’s Daniel Breston will take you from identifying how DevOps applies to your organisation, to putting in place, getting the board on board, to the day it all finally goes LIVE.
You can view the full agenda for the whole three days of Continuous Lifecycle, and buy tickets for both the conference and workshops here. We hope to see you in May. ®
