Sony settles Interview breach suit

Sony Pictures has agreed to settle a class action suit brought by employees exposed in a 2014 data breach related to the movie The Interview.

The deal, approved Wednesday by the US District Court in Los Angeles, requires that Sony pay for unreimbursed expenses and losses, and cover in the future the costs of identity protection services for current and former employees whose personal data was stolen and dumped by hackers.
