VID: Flying monkey-bot

Boffins have shown off a 'bot that flies, walks, grasps and fits on your palm.

Modelled on a Stag Beetle but said to have the capabilities of a monkey, the robot is the product of MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab.

The bot boasts a tiny quadrocopter, plus pincers and legs, a combination that lets it alter its environment. The video below shows the bot in amusing and clever action.
