Qumulo lays off staff

Scale-out NASer scales down

Scale-out NAS startup Qumulo is reportedly laying off staff.

According to Fortune, 24 of its staff have been laid off, with, we understand, 146 remaining. The move follows a general tightening of VC funding availability, with other storage startups cutting costs via staff reductions earlier this year; Data Gravity, Panasas, Tegile and Atlantis.

Qumulo has just announced v2 of its Core OS, adding erasure coding. ®
