Disaster biz inhales $51m

End-point data protector, file-sharing and disaster recovery startup Druva has gained $51m in E-round funding.

This takes total funding to a heady $118m. Cash raising was led by Sequoia Capital India, with new investor Singapore Economic Development Board (EDBI), the Singapore government agency for market development.

Other investors were Blue Cloud Ventures and Hercules Capital, with contributions from existing investors including NTT Finance, Nexus Venture Partners and Tenaya Capital.

The dollars will be used to fund product innovation, capabilities and adoption, to drive sales and marketing, and continue the company’s global expansion. ®
