AI gives porn peddlers a helping hand
What a time to be alive
NSFW A new "AI" application could save pornography sites hours of grunt work. The neural network "Miles Deep", released under the GPL, claims to classify each second of a porn clip of a sexual act with 95 per cent accuracy.
Miles Deep could also be used to make clips "safe" for viewing.
"It can remove all the scenes not containing sexual contact, or edit out just a specific act," the author Ryan Jay states on the project's Github repository.
"Unlike Yahoo's recently released NSFW model, which uses a similar architecture, Miles Deep can tell the difference between nudity and various explicit sexual acts. As far as I know this is the first and only public pornography classification or editing tool," Jay claims.
The "AI" (as we are now obliged to call any piece of code with a conditional expression) can take advantage of NVIDIA GPUs. The training database consists of 36,000 images divided into six categories:
blowjob
cunnilingus
other
sex_back
sex_front
titfuck
Miles Deep can also allow time-pressed onanists to save precious seconds, and jump to the part of the video they identify.
Who said AI was useless? No, sir. Not us. ®
