Want to raise cash for Action for Children’s Byte Night? The clock is ticking

Sign up and start raising wonga now

If you want to help some of the most vulnerable people in the country and bed down with some of the smartest, you’ve got seven weeks to sign up for the 2018 Byte Night sleepout.

It doesn’t matter if the days or nights are warm if your best option is to sleep on the streets. Which is why Byte Night, which raises money for Action for Children’s work with vulnerable youngsters and their families, will not just help you support its work, but give you a pavement-level view of why it's so important.

Registering is easy - you just need to sign up here for one of 12 different locations across the length and breadth of the UK, including a new addition, Leeds. You and your team have then got till October 5 to raise your sponsorship cash.

It’s not all doom and gloom. Far from it. Once you’ve signed in, you’ll get a hot dinner and the chance to share a few drinks in the company of your peers, as well as a smattering of tech luminaries and the odd celebrity. It’s a great way to connect with people in your industry and the community at large.

Then it’s time to roll out your sleeping bag and bed roll and settle down for the evening. You’ll awake to a hot breakfast before heading home, possibly tired, but certainly feeling the warm glow that comes from knowing you’ve made a real contribution to Action for Children’s work.

October might seem a while away, but the earlier you sign up, the more time you’ve got to raise cash. So, what are you waiting for? Head to the site, read about the great work AFC does, and sign up today. ®
