Quantiq slurps asset of Profile Enterprise Solutions

Bit of M&A action in Microsoft Dynamics world

Quantiq has snaffled certain assets of fellow Microsoft Dynamics boutique Profile Enterprise Solutions.

The trade buy includes support contracts for roughly 40 customers that had projects on the go with PES, the Hemel Hempstead-based biz that has now formally shuttered its Dynamics NAV practice.

A small number of staff have also transferred to Quantiq, a London-located niche house that concentrates on AX, CRM, GP, NAV, Power BI and Dynamics 365, which Microsoft introduced a few years ago.

“We have picked up the customers and the key people,” Quantic CEO Stuart Fenton told us.

Fenton previously ran Insight Enterprises across EMEA but left the company and the reseller sector in 2013. He created Quantiq in 2014, buying the UK arm of then major Microsoft Dynamics player Tectura for £1 and investing several million to improve its lot.

The UK subsidiary, which had a turnover of £6m and 50 staff, is on track to reach £20m this year and employs nearly 200 people, Fenton said.

The financial details of the deal were not disclosed. ®
