First up, Meraki, a division of Cisco, is looking to fill two senior SRE roles in central London, England, that require an equal mix of software engineering, Linux performance tuning and system design, and consulting, evangelism, and requirements gathering with other engineering teams. We're reliably informed that Meraki London is a fast-growing branch office – the HQ is in San Francisco – and a really great place to work.
Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Observability SRE)
We process more than 600k metrics and logs per second to monitor our production environment. We want to increase that by 10x. Help us design and build out our next generation data infrastructure.

Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Dashboard SRE)
Dashboard SRE is responsible for scaling our main production application, the Meraki Dashboard. It's a huge distributed system - 7 million events per second in from 5 million network devices all over the world, and 4.5B HTTP requests per day. This team writes the software (Ruby) and automation (Ansible) to tie all that together.

Having experience with PHP development, and having the ability to review and understand PHP code is a bonus.
Ability and commitment is as important as current skill set. You should be highly motivated, have technical flair, an interest in all things technology, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills. All our staff are currently working remotely, but in normal conditions there are opportunities in both our Houston, Texas office and permanent teleworking positions in the USA and UK.
