A blueprint for hybrid working

Partner Content Hybrid working is an increasingly important component of a successful modern business strategy.

It's certainly something that Logicalis takes seriously. The company is using its products and services to help its hybrid workers improve their efficiency, cut their emissions, and build its expertise in workspace and collaboration in the meantime.

Those capabilities were boosted by Logicalis acquisition of Singapore-based IT solutions and managed services provider iZeno in 2020. It was a deal which brought in additional skills and experience around infrastructure modernisation, network transformation, DevOps and hybrid cloud designed to deliver end to end solutions for its customers into the fold.

As a demonstration of its commitment, the company is fitting out its new office in Malaysia with communication and collaboration technology tailor made to support its employees' hybrid working requirements and foster closer synergies between Logicalis and iZeno. The venue will also host a modern Security Operations (SOC) and Network Operations Centre (NOC) built to protect customers from cyber threats by anticipating and identifying attacks then neutralising them before they can cause significant damage.

Fitted with a combination of smart lighting systems, Cisco Spaces and Webex Meeting Center, the new office will provide an energy efficient infrastructure and collaboration space that supports audio, video and content sharing from desktops, laptops, smartphones and other devices, says Logicalis. That flexibility will help workers to cut their personal carbon footprint and provide a blueprint for similar customer experiences also focussed on hybrid working efficiency, productivity and sustainability to be showcased at live demo sites across the APAC region.

The Logicalis Digital Fabric Platform built to provide performance metrics across five key internal metrics is being shared with Logicalis' external customers, for example. This tool uses artificial intelligence (AI) to provide an overall health score for networks, cloud, security and workplace services alongside historical data to help CIOs identity and prioritise areas for improvement.
